Imperial College

The Imperial College is located next to the Confucius Temple. The college was founded in 1306 by Emperor Chengzong of the Yuan Dynasty. The college was intended to train future government officials in the Confucian classics. The college was a very important institution in Chinese history. Many of the most famous Chinese scholars and officials studied at the college.

The Imperial College is now a museum. Visitors can come to learn about the history of the college and its role in Chinese history. The museum also has a collection of artifacts from the college, including books, paintings, and sculptures.

Travel Guide

The Confucius Temple and Imperial College are both located in the Dongcheng District of Beijing. The nearest subway station is Tiananmen East Station. Visitors can also take a bus or taxi to the temple.

The Confucius Temple is open every day from 8:00am to 5:00pm. The Imperial College is open every day from 9:00am to 5:00pm.

Admission to the Confucius Temple is free. Admission to the Imperial College is 30 yuan.
